on the home screen go into settings and set up your hot keys. they have suggested ones just type them in hit update then your set to clk and pin

Correct, only you and your alliance can see the pins you post

Some players are however under suspicion of being able to see enemy pins through a web hack.

I'm trying to set some alliance pin. I read you can only do this using the short cut keys. So i have set the short cuts on my keyboard but i cant get any of the short cut keys to work. I use Firefox but also tried doing this in Google chrome so the browser isn't the issue. Any idea what i may be doing wrong?

Are you holding down the short cut key and then clicking?
