You need to build a shipyard first, then Radar costs $2500......hit radar tab after that and you can see a circular radar scan area

Kinda of expensive considering it's range radius and can't be seen by your allies either.

I have never found a use for it honestly Its way too expensive only gives information when you "Use it" and honestly its much faster to just scan the sea lanes for units just like any land unit.

I might build one if  they could be build by con trucks and saw land and sea units AND if the cost was around $500 its current use and functionality is well pointless. The units should show up on the global map via a toggle (ie see con trucks or see jeeps in this case "See enemy/allied units"

I like seeing my coast lit up
