Now how about explaining what an "attack button" that "toggle[s] on or off" is referring to so I can actually look into the problem?

I'm assuming he means that when he clicks the attack button, it won't display those little circles that you select where to attack.

Could this be because that world hasn't started yet?  (I'm not there so I can't tell)

It actually started Saturday.

camel2th, please confirm if that is actually what's going wrong for you.

I think he means that when you are in the Zoomed-Out view and click the "attacks" button in the top right corner, it does not show the grey lines where you are going to attack next turn, at least that's the problem i'm having.
