Good Game. Even after being defeated it was one of the best maps I've been on. Your alliance and team member skills simply outperformed us. Well done.
I have learned a lot from this map though. And I'll share some of those things:
1) One thing is how important it is to have radar on large coasts. I stopped so many landings on my coast because of radar, and it was not until the end that I stopped checking it every day. It's expensive, but on a map like this, it helped me a ton.
2) If you have a good alliance, that is what matters. It's obvious and it is something we can't always control either... But we can do something. When you are in an alliance, it is best to expand to and around your alliance members with lily-pad bases. That way if they quit or go inactive, then you can be there to get the land first. You can also use Radar to track their seas for them. On this map, 2 of my alliance members did not seem too cooperative about this, and did not easily vacate land for me to take... and it turned out that their land was what our alliance lost when the game progressed and they went inactive/disappeared.
3) Team work. I should have done less in Africa and more with Australia when my allies were attacking it. It helps when everyone is focused on one target. That causes the target country to become overwhelmed and lose.
Anywho, that's my words of wisdom here.
