Subject: Change starting positionlast

Right now we are currently waiting for two worlds to start.  A problem is that there are not enough players inside of Jaxarto so it had to be delayed.
It was mentioned on another thread that the reason there are not enough players is because they are waiting until the first day to start so they can choose an open spot to expand their country without interference from others.  Although there has been some small discussions as to whether waiting or not is a good idea, I am one who is choosing to wait till day 1 before creating my country.
For this reason I would like to make this suggestion known to see how it goes:
Could a feature be added that would allow players to change their initial starting position?  Choosing a new starting position would follow the same rules, but it would simply let players evaluate where they are on the map as others join and let them have the choice to change their starting position if they wish.
If this was done, more would sign up long before the game begins knowing that if their country becomes surrounded by others they could pack up and move out before the game begins.
Thoughts?
While the game is still in limbo I agree that a change of starting position option would be nice. However, I would strongly disagee with a change once the game actually starts. Perhaps a 12 hour before the start deadline for changing position would work? that way people couldn't try ganking someone a minute before the opening session begins. lol

Also, email notifications of other players changing position would be a benefit in this as well. That way if you aren't checking in before the start you'd have a "heads-up" to go and check the map to see if you have any new neighbors you might not want to have next door. ;)

I initially allowed players to change starting positions, but it quickly got out of hand.  It can also be exploited by people to create remote starting locations by simply "hopping" one another (join, someone else joins, you move to the other side, repeat).
I never knew that how it was before.
Well if it did not work before, then the way it is now is fine.  :)
