Like Cerato. please.
I say make MORE SMALLER ones so MORE NEW people can get involved.  Right now all worlds are for the most part populated with people who have countries in other worlds (aka the same repeat people).

For example, I want to get my cousin to play, and I KNOW he'd love it, but there's no sense asking him to piss against the wind of Cerato's million sector clubs.  And there's no refuge to be found in Herrera either now: filled up in about a month!  So there's no place for a new guy to go where he's not gonna get boned.

I mean...perhaps you can even save time by making the value of all land the same.  Not like any of us pay attention to it.

C'mon Johnny!  ...I mean War God Almighty.  And if we can help, let us know.
Ditto on the land value thing, is there a point to varying it?  If there are rich regions of the map then I don't know about them.
Material Value can be found on the World map. the darker an area is, the more value it gives.

Edit: Sorry, that only works on Einio. For some reason Herrera is just giving me a black background when I check material value, but works fine on Einio.
The difference isn't enough to make it worth perusing or fighting over though.  But that wasn't the point.

The point I was making was that there should be more frequent smaller worlds instead of less frequent large ones: For the sake of encouraging new players to join.
I think it should be a healthy mix of the two.

Cerato is a map where even new players can come in months late and still have a fighting chance simply because of the map's sheer size, while smaller maps such as Herrera fills up rapidly and become difficult, if not impossible, for anyone after the first month to join in the game.
Until scalling issue are resolved for the size of Cerato maps, I recommend against them. (Dmeow can't see all his jeeps, the browser crashes.) I like the small sized maps. 3-6 month games I think make the best ones.

I would not mind if a new map came out on a schedule. Also, how about an earthquake or tidal wave or two. Random acts of nature that create or destroy land or stuff build on land.
