Subject: FAQ / Expanded Help-Instructions ??last

This has probably been covered in another thread, but I haven't been able to find it.  Maybe I just need to spend more time trawling the message board.

I'd love to see an FAQ page or and expanded "Help/Instructions" page.  As a new player, terms like "merge" and "split" are unclear.  Are "nukes" the same as missiles from air bases?  If not, how do I get some nukes and use them?  How do I protect myself from nuclear attacks?  Will defense turrets protect from nukes?

These are just a couple of questions I've thought of over the past couple weeks of playing for which I have yet to find an answer.  There must be others.

Just a thought...  or, you know, if someone could direct me to a thread that has this sort of information, I'd be pretty grateful.
Okay, I did find the explanation for nukes in the Help/Instructions page.  I take that one back.  :)
LOL.
merge: if alike units are close by, one can 'merge' them into a stronger unit up to strength 9. Two units of strength 5 cannot merge unless one of those units are 'split' first. Units holding another unit cannot merge until offloaded (transport, carrier, frigate).

split: a strong unit can 'split' into weaker units down to all level 1 units if there is sufficient space available inside its merge/split area. This area is different sizes depending on the unit. Units holding another unit cannot split until offloaded (transport, carrier, frigate).

NOTE: a unit cannot split and merge in the same movement. There must be a sector space available first.

Thank you, Iron_cowboy.  That's what I thought it might be, so I went into the Sandbox and played around with it for a bit 'til I figured it out.  Still, your answer was exactly what I was looking for.
