I thought of something a while ago but forgot to post it here.
I'm fairly certain there are already several threads pertaining to this suggestion but I wanted to expand on it.
How about a mobile radar LAND unit? Now get this. If the radar land unit boards a transport, the transport becomes a radar ship. It's still a transport, except with radar ability.
This would remove the need for a whole new sea unit.
Also, upgradeable radar bases? L1 Radar provides the radar we get now, upwards to L9 radar that has about double the radar size?
