Land squares have a "Materials: XXX" score. It is not consistent between squares.
What does it mean?
Is it randomly generated?
Does it adjust overtime? If so, is there any way to adjust it? Other than nuke it from orbit (it is the only way to be sure)?
Thank you,
Iron_cowboy
It is various across the world.

As for adjustment, I have no idea...

The Materials score is how much "useful stuff" each sector has, and is related to how much profit each sector brings in each turn.  (I believe it is 0.08%, but I could be wrong).

It is randomly generated, but exists in highs and lows across the map.  Therefore, you may have a bunch of highs in one area, a bunch of lows in another area, but not a 400 difference between adjacent sectors.

It remains static throughout the game, and does not adjust over time (even, I believe, if it is nuked).

Correct, Gopher.

I'll look into adding raw materials as on overlay, perhaps in the "Overview" tool.
