if you build a unit from the base, the sell price drops to 1000, i believe.
maybe it should be coded that if you sell troops at any base, it gets reduced to 1000 as well.
are people wondering why the prussias were wanting to nail drivers down (para's country) now?
they never asked me about the treaty cancellations, and claimed to only want peace- except in the same email, prussian empire told me that the dual prussias could take my nation out without serious losses.
i admit that i have trolled some people here and will cut it back. but i stop well short of actually swearing at people, and i encourage people to email me with their concerns.
Ah yes, Prussia. I got this nice message that he sent to me, asking nicely, while at the same time attacking my ships that were landing at a point where I had not attacked anyone:
'You have recently landed on my penisula, I plan on taking the entire area as well as you are expanding very close to a friend of mine, I would ask that you focus your efforts towards taking your island so that we may aviod conflict in the near future'
Nothing like a pre-emptive attack, to turn a neutral player (invading unclaimed territory) into an Enemy
I'm rooting for a third party coming to a theater near you. It clear to me that all of you are a Balkanized continent, and incapable of getting along. Clearly you need a stabilizing force and some tanks rolling across your lands in order to find true happiness.

I do enjoy the mix up but I act then send emails, I'll wait while my troops establish what I want done if I have to say it or not. Driver down will be gone with little effort still, and I won't rest till he is gone for his sheer annoyance he has caused me. As for the other one I attacked I requested treaties from all I am at war at before this all started and retracted them sometime later, ya'll had a time for peace now its time for war, Me those who are recently at peace with me and those who are for peace with me have had it since the beginnning.

Driver Down will be around a lot longer than you. Your friend Prussia is already getting rolled, and next it will be you. The tanks just haven't reached you yet, but they will. You've lost this war before it even began.

if you missile or airstrike someone, then ask them for peace, you're asking to get thumped.
you got some stuff through my lines, i'll admit. letting you have the land base was a mistake, and i'm sure i will pay for it. but it's literally 5v2 at this stage. i'm taking Duke's capital at update, hamstringing his finances- most of which he is throwing at his eastern front.
and if he resigns his nation, he removes the buffer between three nations and your borders, and begins anew somewhere where you can't be helped.
so i seriously doubt that i will be removed with little effort.

I can see how it could be widely abused, but it would be cool if there was such a thing as foreign aid in the game.
how it would work (numbers are general, not solid or what i think the limitations should be): 1. cap the dollar amount ($20,000) 2. establish aid slot limits (only three slots for sending or receiving aid) 3. aid slot usage expires after so many days (when you send aid, that slot is used up for the next five days. if all three slots are filled, you can't send or receive aid until the aid slot refreshes)
The issue Johnny brought up before was people creating multiple accounts to generate more money. This would have to be stopped some how. Maybe make a minimum size for sending/receiving aid like you have to be at least 25,000 sectors... I don't know how long it would take to get that big but I think that the size should be large enough to prevent people from creating another country (to flank your neighbor) and then feed it.

Perhaps you would have to "load" the money onto a transport or a construction truck, and then deliver it to the receiving nation's borders. Each transport/construction truck could deliver say $5000 per level.

he could make it so that only one nation can play per IP address. there was a guy on the NE continent that was running three accounts, and if there was an IP limitation, that would help out.
also, paying for the game might not stem the flow. i know people that pay $20 every month for very little real benefit in another internet based game, and it blows my mind. because of the popularity of the game though, the creator of the game is making several thousand dollars a month, and by some estimates, 20ish thousand.
would i pay more than $5/mo for a few benefits in this game? no. i'd suffer through the labor intensive aspect of moving each unit and enjoy it. other people that are willing to blow a few hamiltons every month could run six nations at that rate and they'd be getting away clean.
