I was on my way to attack a merging nation on the northern peninsula (where there has been a boom in population of multiple countries) and this morning, all of the new countries are gone.  Is this a glitch or can someone "quit" and remove their country?  So far, all that I have managed to attack have been "abandoned" settlements.  I was actually looking forward to a strategic encounter (that I would most likely win in the long run).  I haven't developed the balls yet to take on some of my larger neighbors.  But I digress.

Just wondering if tomorrow, or some time down the road, these colonies will pop back up.

I did some cleaning up yesterday of countries that all originated from the same IPs.  There's still more to examine, but that was the most obvious case.

One person, eleven countries.
Could you check out that whole flying Mongolian clusterf*ck to the ESE of me, Johnny?  I think that's a guy from our old WoW guild who made all of those accounts..
what if there are family members in the same house Johnny? My 3 brothers play to.

All the Disney characters live in the same house?  What a surprise.

I looked into it and the accounts appeared legitimate, so I left them.

I thought it was a little suspicious that your brother decided to create a country as close as possible to the capital of the person you were fighting.  Still plausible, though.

I thought it was strange, though, that you were born 21 days apart and have the same name.

Ah, this is why I love programmers.
